"Earmovie II" is a series of three connected pieces:
"The Haunted Garden"
"The Temple of Oblivion"
"From the Winds of Avalon"
Total playing time is about 24 minutes.
Ideally, I would like each composition to have sufficient syntactic coherence to stand alone and guide the listener on a journey of the imagination. So much music that is on the market appeals to attitudes and concerns that are extrinsic to the composition. At a minimum, they use words in songs, theatrical scenarios, gestures and costumes to fill out what the music won't do.
I should add that, as much as I am grateful for the mp3 format, a compressed audio format entails some loss of information, so that lower frequency bass lines, inter alia, will come through considerably weaker than in the full audio CD format.
